Today's my first day in the conservatory. Loving every minute of it, for the fact that I'm in a place I've always dream to be in. But one thing which was real tiring was to speak Mandarin the whole day. No offence to my schoolmates from China! I'm glad to be able to practice my Mandarin again!
Already feeling the tough competition. A freshie came to asked me, "Can i don't join you guys for the group outing?"
I asked why.
"Because I want to go back to the studio to practice.."
What? During orientation? And the second day in Singapore???
That reminds me of the days when i brought my Tuba up the bunk to practice during Saturdays and after work. And people told me, "eh, u sot ar?" And i realised how much have I slackened for the past 1 year.. Time to buck up again, Julian!!

Time flies when you are really having fun. And I will have to say i really did enjoyed myself for the past 4 days. For the first time in 3 years, i felt like a student again. So much more alive, so much more enthusiasm! Words can't really describe. But i know i will treasure my time in school. I'm not going to be the one who keeps mugging and not making friends. I want it fun and fulfilling. I want to score and at the same time being active in activities. I know this is crazy. But i know there are people who does that. And i know it is possible! G.Rats is my OG's name.. coming OG outing will be organised by me! Can't wait!
So, after the camp, i received a phone call from YST. I was selected as freshmen student leader and got to go back to school again the next day! Which is like TODAY! So, for the fact that there are few Singaporean students in YST, we got to start being student leaders despite being freshmen. Funny isn't it? Somehow the "freshmen" and "student leader" don't seems to quite match.
The beginning of student life makes me feel so much connected to this world again. I'm enjoying every moment of it. I feel I'm being myself again. And though I know life is tough ahead, I know this is what I've been looking for in the past 3 years.

Ocamp is one week away! I can't wait. I can't wait to be a student again! I know i will regret what i say when school starts. But just let me say it. I can feel the adrenaline rush everytime i mention the word "school". 3 years of starvation from knowledge is killing me. No one will understand how i feel. Try being behind your peers by one year. Try it when they are all talking about exams and school when you're stuck in a place call the army - For an extra year (or maybe even more). I got to really admit that I felt like an outcast when all my friends did that. As if I'm the one ostracising myself from the real world. Now I'm given a chance to redeem myself from the mistake I've made 4 years ago, I promise, I will make the best out of these 4 years. For failure is not an option now.

Suddenly I miss Europe.. I wanna go there again, Amsterdam!! I wanna visit the Anne Frank House again, eat the street hot dogs again, the super salty fries and the super expensive mineral water!!

Though it's been freaking hot at night, I'm still enjoying the occasional breeze from outside. And while enjoying tonight's not so occasional breeze as the weather is not getting any better, i shall write some not so important stuffs here.
And it happen again. I can't sleep. So I got up, went to the hall and switched on the television. Watched a Chinese horror flick and turn back to bed. It's not because of the ghosts that i can't sleep. In fact, i was laughing throughout the show! Hope after this post, i can fall asleep peacefully.
Been going to clubs quite often now. Oh man, will i get addicted? I know this is the time to enjoy life before my school starts. But the high music volume may just damage my ears before i even start school! I don't want to become like Beethoven, but i don't want to be staying at home staring at the computer screen at night and not doing anything! Thankfully I have a bunch of friends who enjoys places like Winebar and Zouk and Butter Fac! So if i do become deaf, they are not going to be any better!!! *Smirk
AS the saying goes, "Fashion is never cheap."
So while i spent the last few weeks trying to find out which style of dressing suits me, I've unknowingly spent more than 500 bucks on new clothes, contact lens, shoes and what not. Guess it's worth the effort and money. My friend who is quite conscious about dressing actually gave me a thumbs up! That's very good for a self proclaim fashion disaster! Shall keep improving!
Alright, i guess I've wrote enough senseless stuffs and should head back to sleep. It will be a long day tomorrow (OK, today). Keep up the good work, Juls! Keep up project JLHT too!

Gosh! So before my school starts, i shall have some fun in life! Though it doesn't mean i won't have fun. =)
Yes, almost confirmed. Going to Vegas with miss boo to visit Ray and Chestine! Celebrating X'mas at the same time! Can't wait to visit the Grand Canyon! And this is getting me so damn excited! Shit, just 6 more months. Better save up now!

Wow, i just experienced the wonders of having contact lens! Cool! Should've done it long time ago. But wells, better late than never!
Also, it's gonna be a tiring 2 weeks for me now. Imagine waking up at 5.30am and only reaching home at 8.30pm? This is total madness. Let's look on the bright side of life! Cos i took a very nice photo of that stupid dog sleeping!
I feel better now. Cause I've learnt to love myself more.
